Creating and Managing Dashboards

Learn to create and customize Dashboards in Cifra. Choose a template or build a panel from scratch to visualize your business's key metrics.

Updated this week

The Dashboard is your command center in Cifra. It's the place where you visualize the most important information for your business at a glance. You can start analyzing your data in two ways: by using a predefined template or by creating a Dashboard completely from scratch.

1. Creating a Dashboard from a Template

Cifra's templates are the quickest way to get started. They are designed by experts to show you the essential metrics for a specific area (for example, sales performance or customer behavior).

Steps to use a template:

  1. In the side navigation bar, click on Dashboards.

  2. In the top-right corner, select the "Create Dashboard" button.

  3. A window will pop up. Under "Dashboard template", choose one of the predefined options, such as Sales, Behavior, or Customers.

  4. Give your Dashboard a name in the Name field and click "Create Dashboard".

That's it! In seconds, Cifra will populate your Dashboard with the most relevant widgets for that topic.

2. Creating a Dashboard from Scratch

If you have very specific analysis needs, you can create a blank Dashboard and fully customize it.

Steps to create a blank Dashboard:

  1. Click on Dashboards in the side navigation bar.

  2. Select the "Create Dashboard" button and, in the window that appears, choose the "Blank" option under "Dashboard template".

  3. Give your Dashboard a descriptive name and click "Create Dashboard".

  4. You will now see an empty panel with a button that says "Add metrics". Click on it.

  5. The "Metrics Library" will open. Here you can drag and drop the metrics you're interested in (like Total Sales, Average Order Value, or Gross Profit) directly onto your Dashboard to start monitoring your business performance.

3. Managing Your Dashboards

Once you have your Dashboards, you can easily manage them to keep everything organized.

  • Rename or Duplicate: For any Dashboard, you can click on the three dots to the right of the name to see more options, like Rename or Duplicate.

  • Reorganize: Within a Dashboard, you can drag and drop widgets to change their position and keep the most important information visible at all times.

  • Delete: If a Dashboard is no longer useful, you can delete it to keep your workspace clean.

With these tools, you have complete control to create and customize your data panels, ensuring you always have the information you need to make smart decisions.
